Thumbs up Prius sightings in HOV lanes

On my way to work yesterday on CA-85 northbound at I-280, I was one of 4 Prius' in a row - all with HOV stickers in the HOV lane. We were traveling at 70 miles per hour and all had big smiles on our faces. For those not familiar, CA-85 runs through San Jose, CA.

The number of Hybrid cars in Norhtern California is amazing, I see at least a dozen during my morning commute of 17 miles.

Cheers, Doug

I think I saw a Prius once. It was in North Carolina. I almost cried tears of joy at seeing another hybrid.

Here in the Quad Cities, I am beginning to see them daily. A couple of weeks ago, I met up with three other owners at the car wash.

They're all over Northern VA, where we're allowed to use the HOV lanes. It's a huge selling point.

Southern California 405 Freeeway, Northbound. On my 25 mile commute this morning I had 25 Prius sightings, all with HOV stickers. Most of the HSD models still had dealer plates. Two Classics, 23 HSD.
