Thanks EricGo for trying to help me out! But still, I do not know the emission specs for american sold Prius II, just the EPA lower bound.

I do know that two versions are sold, one that makes 9,5 as you say (sold in the "clean" states like California) and one that makes 8.

For swedish sold Priuses, it is as easy as going to toyota.se and collect the numbers.

I hadn't thought about it from the financing angle. Yes, locking in the $3000 over 5 years at 3.9% interest is better than the future stream of gas payments. And gas will keep going up over time.

Also, that finance payment goes away after 5 years. For the next several years you can still keep saving money on gasoline! Honda/Toyota last 250K easily, so you can drive these cars for 15 years barring any battery pack issues you might have.....
