Default Steering Wheel lock?

Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty new here. just a quick question I have not seen in other postings. I was getting out of my car 07 Prius and grabbed the steering wheel for some leverage, to my surprise the wheel turned. I have checked it a few times since and it seems not to lock at all. Has anyone else noticed this?

.

Thanks
Bob

Yea, found the same on mine... I thought it was just a base model thing. Do you guys have packages?

Not a base model thing, manufactures are realizing steering wheel locks are causing problems and locking when they shouldn't, so the industry is doing without them I think. Transmission locks work so much better anyway.

Good to know. My previous car was a 1999 Camaro, and my wife car is 2004 Hyundai, both of which had/has the steering wheel lock....
