Default Tonneau cover clip
Anyone out there lose one of the clips that hold the tonneau cover for the rear compartment open? I lost one of mine and Toyota says I have to purchase the entire cover for $350 !!! I called corporate and couldn't get any satisfaction : .

I would be interested to know if anyone else has had this problem.

Call your local used auto parts dealer (junk yard ). They may be able to find one for you.

You may be able to order it from one of the JDM (Japan Domestic Market) websites that are around, but then shipping is always the price killer.

Screws tend to fall out if you don't tighten them regularly. I try to remember to tighten screws from time to time and and now includes my rear compartment cover.
