Default My commute mpg and elevation

A while back I promised to share some data about my daily 30 mile drive into work.
Here was a 77.7 mpg commute from last month. I've tried to reformat it here without success, but here's the data anyway.

While I haven’t taken video, here is a chart with mpg, elevation, and some running commentary.

I have noted the elevation in relative terms. Elevation of “1” corresponds to the lowest point in my commute. I tracked the elevations in ½ mile increments. I only noted the mpg in 1 mile increments.

I have one very large 3 mile, ~3% grade hill that I tackle every day. It’s interesting to note that as long as my mpg isn’t too high when I get to the hill, I can sometimes improve my mpg by the bottom of the hill. I didn’t post it here, but I also made a graph that of the elevations that shows how my drive “looks”.

Enjoy!

Sorry I did not see your reply.
Yes, I dictated, and then retyped it.

The elevation makes for an interesting graph.
