I've been thinking on getting a new car even though I don't REALLY need it. Currently I have 1994 Corolla with 244,000 miles...!!!
It's getting rusty and all that but it runs great.
A couple friends tell me why would I want to get a new car and then start paying monthly bills and have a higher city tax every year (we pay taxes yearly here in CT) when my old car, old yes, it is running just fine....
The thing is, I like the Civic but the price seems to be higher now for the base price, I remember it used to be around $22,500 I think but now looks like it is over $24k. (BTW - WHY???)
1. Would you buy the current Civic or wait for the Insight and pay around $18k?
2. also, can someone tell me what would be a good price to pay for a Civic Hybrid today?
Re: Would you wait for the Insight or buy the Civic?
It is a tuff one! The Civic HCH 2 is a good car and I believe they can be had for a good price because auto's are not selling. It is a buyers market! I think all we are looking at is a hatch back versus a sedan. So what do you like? H
