Honda Recalls '06 Civics to Fix Accelerator Pedal

Honda Motor Co. is recalling 25,298 of its newest Civic small cars to fix a faulty accelerator pedal than can stick and potentially cause a crash.

The accelerator pedal may come loose at the floor mounting, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. Honda says it hasn't had any reports of accidents or injuries.


This is probably why the shipment of the 06HCH was delayed.

Most of these are not in service, so it should be an easy to fix and quickly disappearing problem...
