Angry 2004 HCH Sirius Install

Has anyone had any experience with installing Sirius on a 2004 HCH? I bought the Sportster 4 for my fiance's birthday and we have been using it by connecting it through the cigarette adapter, but it is horrible! He commutes an hour to work each way, so he has to constantly look for a new blank station. And there are many times where we'll find multiple blank stations over the course of 15 minutes or so, but the Sirius won't come through on any of them! It seems that the only way to avoid going through the empty FM station is to connect it to the AUX/Line-in, but there's none on the front of the radio. I've heard that it is sometimes located on the back of the radio, but I'd hate to pay someone to find it if it doesn't exist. Please help before I throw the Sirius out the window!

I Love Sirius!!

Sirius has a frequency finder, you type in your zip code and it tells you the frequencies you most likely will have sucess (i.e. no interference). Hope it helps!

XM's OK (I have it free for a couple more months with the car), but I miss my Sirius. I can't wait until this adapter comes out (VAIS Tech is making one too), and I can get back to listening to Stern every day. Also, the time that Marketplace comes on Sirius' NPR channel is more convenient for me than the local FM station. NPR + Stern = awesome.

How long has it been since you listened to him? Have you heard him since he went to Sirius?

Actually, I only listened to him on Sirius. I think I did catch a show or two when he was on FM, but never got into it. The uncensored show is awesome, though.

It's been over a month since my old car was totaled, and I've had no Stern in the car since. I do try to catch him at home, though.

I'm always surprised to hear how many people who used to listen to him don't anymore since he went to sirius. His show is 1451346 times funnier now.

Do these people not listen just because they don't want to pay, or did they actually prefer the censored show? Cause I'm with you, it's much, much better!

They just didn't want to pay or go through the hassle of having to put the unit in their car. I don't get it. If I didn't have the Stern show or at least Bubba to listen to during the day, I don't know what I'd listen to for a laugh. I only started listening to Howard 5 years ago, but since then no other radio station or their "wacky" dj even comes close to being funny to me.
