Notice the center fold-down in the rear seats. I wonder if this will be an issue for swapping out the rears on the hybrid. Will the hybrid be factory available with leather? If so, maybe they'll figure out a way to incorporate the rear-center fold-down in it.

They say the 2008 hybrid will have a leather option. I doubt the rear center will have the fold down. When I removed the back seat to install my Wet Okole seat covers I noticed that there is no room behind the rear seats as the battery access panel is there with the warnings not to mess with it or you could be killed.

Actually, leather is only being offered for the EX, as in EX-L. No leather for Hybrids yet, but you could conceivably order the leather seats as parts and swap them into your hybrid (at least for the fronts).

Where do you see the 2008 Civic Hybrid yet? On the Honda website they still only have the 2007's.

I see it now in the 2008 Civic price list press release on 9/14/07... Hybrid owners still get no leather. Bummer.

Still no leather... I guess the rumors were wrong. But it's not like we were all going to sell our HCH's and buy leather ones.
