Default 4 miles @ 80mpg

Just did a short run from the gas station to work. 2 miles on hwy and 2 on a road. 4.3 miles at 81.4mpg. I don't know how I got the mileage this high - I was just doing the typical throttle/SoC stuff and the car seemed really easy to keep in the high MPG range today. Maybe becuase its a little warmer today (58 degrees).

This HCHII is getting along nicely - averaged 51.8mpg on my last tank.

If you start your trip way out in Pittsfield MA, and take the Mass Pike towards Boston, you can get the max for about 30miles. It's all down hill and you can average about 60+ miles per hour. Didn't have my camera at the time, but it's pretty funny seeing 100mpg+ over a distance of 30 miles.

My personal record is 126 MPG over about 20 miles. Yes, mostly downhill

My personal best was 150.0 MPG for only three miles on flat ground and usuing a lot of EV mode/ coasting. However, the Avg. MPG guage seemed to top out at 150.0 MPG.

Not as bad as I would have thought. I got about 35 going up the hill, and my overall average (slightly above sea level -> top -> sea level on the other side) was around 55.

Going the ~12 miles from my favorite fueling station ---> to home I can easily exceed 100MPG, as it is 90% a slight downhill grade.
However going the other way these days are good for upper 50's.

Looks like the HCH II's are doing great, and people are learning how to get their maximum!

.

Efficient drivers do it better.
1003 miles a tank personal record. 74MPG calculated. HCH1 CVT

This car really has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see what kind of FE numbers people will be getting when the weather gets a little warmer. In my short experience the car seems to do much better in warmer weather.
