Hi all,

I just got my 2008 HCH. It works great but the nav system DVD is from 2006 and it doesn't have some road updates and new roads in my area. As far as I have been able to tell I have the newest DVD. Does any one know if there are any plans for an update any time soon? What is the best (legal) place to get the latest update?

The latest version is 6.62. Make sure you have an older version before spending the $185 to upgrade to the latest version.

That's my issue. My current DVD is 6.62A but it is (c) 2006 by NavTech and (c) 2007 by Honda. That means the maps are at least 2 years old, and some are much older.

My hand held Garmin device gets new maps every year. Does anyone know when a DVD with updated map information is due?

I just checked, and mine is also at 6.62A.

The map updates are always a couple years behind the actual model year.

Usually, they release a new version about the time of the new model year. So it's likely soon that we'll see a newer version.
However, this year COULD be different, as the NAV system gets Bluetooth. We'll see.

Also, sometimes you can find a deal on eBay.
If you have version 6.62a, I think it IS the latest. Sometimes, they release a b version later, but I don't think they did with the 6.62 release. It has been out about a year. They should be about to release a new one.
