Just a word of caution to American buyers - our local news here ran a story not too long ago about Canadian cars being sold in the US and not being identified as such. The specific story was about a man who bought a used mini-van at a dealership. He later got in a wreck, but when he tried to get it fixed, not only did they discover it was a Canadian car but it was stolen. He was in a bit of a mess insurance-wise, and so was the dealership. Canadian cars are manufactured to different standards than those for the US, with a few of those differences being in the area of crash safety. Not sure who has the more permissive or restrictive rules, but they are different. Just a word of warning to those who may be thinking of crossing the border....
