Since the HCH II mirror doesn't have a compass, can you easily determine (at a glance) the direction you are driving via the Nav - even if you aren't using the Nav at the moment to guide you to a destination?

You can use the NAV to constantly show where you are on the map, without asking it to give you directions. The map can be displayed in North-up or Heading-up mode. Either way it's pretty easy to see which direction you're going.

Also if I remember correctly, I think there is a little indicator that always points north when you are not in the "North at the Top" mode.
