Default easy question...can you remove the dead pedal for extra leg room?

This could be a wasted space forum question, but, being 6'4", leg space is "just a little tight". Has anyone removed the "dead pedal" from the hch 2006 for extra leg room? Thanks.

there's a black dead looking foot pedal to the left of the clutch, for your foot to rest on when your not using it.

If he removes it, he was wondering if that would increase the the room where he can rest his left foot back...

I think I said that right

.

i got around 20 km a liter when i drove a civic 5 spd using advanced hypermiler techniques
and now I drive a salvage nwh20 prius that gets almost to 25 km/l with 195,000 km to date.

Ah, dead pedal, quite clever. Yes, I know what you're talking about now. I haven't removed it, I actually like it. I don't even know what would be behind it, haven't looked at it that much. But you can try, and let us know !!!!
