Default FE Gauge on 2006 HCH

Does the 2006 non-navi have the instant fuel gauge? This is the bar graph that the 05 had, to tell you your MPG at that time (real time).

I'm sure it does. The navi has nothing to do with the mpg meter.

Yes. The iFCD is to the left of the speedometer just like in the navi-equipped car.

There is a little button on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Press it and the temp gauge will change to the instant MPG gauge.

Actually, I haven't gotten it yet. Supposedly, it will show up in less than a week. I know someone with an '05 that is consistantly getting 48 to 50. I am hoping to do better.

I just got mine about 10 days ago and I absolutly love it so far!! Got 43.7 on first tank which I think is good since we are in the middle of winter here in the northeast. I commute about 100miles roundtrip everyday. I traded in a 2002 Infiniti I35 and I was getting 20mpg at best. So needless to say, I am very happy with the mileage of the civic.
