Default First HCH2 breaks 60 MPG average

I'm sure more will follow soon into 60sVille!

http://www.greenhybrid.com/compare/m...a-civicii.html

The weather is warming up.
My 2006 HCH2 is more broken in now with over 4200 miles.
This tank was the best ever at 64.3 MPG for 674 miles.

Lifetime average over 7 tanks is now 60.0 MPG, all calculated at the pump since my car has the 62 mile bug.
Yippee!!!!!!!!

What a car!!!!

.

Need fewer troops to support.
Drive a hybrid.
Best tank 71.65 MPG.

Before this car I spent two years learning hypermiling on my 2004 HCH1.

Default Re: First HCH2 with lifetime MPG average in 60s

I've gone from an average of 46mpg to 49+, and I just have over a 1K miles.

This is way cool!

UPDATE!

Next day went on a 110 mile round trip. Average went to 51.7 traveling at 65-70mph. Would have been better if there was less traffic.

I didn't think I would be in this range until first service was completed. WOW!

This is the stuff dreams are made of.

.

Stop Global Warming Now...Block the Sun.

57-60mpg in recent tanks.
60mpg@60mph
Burn less foreign oil...get a hybrid.

Kenny,

Great is the word that comes to my Mind. I wish you would take a minute and Post those results over at www.CleanMPG.com where I usually hang out. That is some very serious FE. Looking good big guy. I know others would like to read about your endeavors if you want to take the time to Post there. Good-Luck and Happy MPG to "You".

Gosh dangit, Kenny!

I really wish you would stop skewing the dang database. You're really starting to tick me off.

Great job, BTW.

Excellent job, Kenny!
I'll be quite happy if I can get 3/4 of that MPG (after my suitable breaking in period).
