Default FS: stock 05 tires+wheels

They've got right at 1100 miles on them; I bought some 15" Borbets, although the 195/50/15 knocked an inch off of my radius. I don't even know how much to ask for them; I'm in Austin, Texas, so factor in shipping or pickup. I'll part it out if I dont get a response on the package. I'll try Craigslist too..

Peace

You might have a really easy time selling them to an HCH II owner! The new wheels are plain f'ugly.

I believe someone on this site was looking to buy some stock hybrid rims.

Craigslist would be a good way to go, there are a lot of hybrid owners here in Austin.

I'm interested, but shipping may kill the deal...

RE: appearance, I'm not a big fan of them, but the two other hybrid owners at work vehemently disagreed with me. Oh well, there's no accounting for taste...

RE: shipping, I have no idea how much it'd cost to ship these suckers. I'd bet it's around 60-80, which I'd split. I'll research it a little early next week. I'll be AWOL at the Austin City Limits music festival all weekend, weather permitting.

Peace,
Ezra

ezra,

Are you offering a discount for folks with poor taste in wheels?

I'm heading out for vacation shortly, but I'll check back with you next weekend to see if they're still available.

Tom

If you plan to trade in your car, ANYTIME, after market wheels will cost you dearly on trade at a Honda dealer. I would probably keep them, at least the rims so you can put them back on when you trade.

Also, the new 06 Hybrids take 15 inch tires and are most probably five lugnut rims where as the 05 is a four bolt. At least the EX is five lug, but you cant tell on the dumb looking new HCH rims due to the cover over the center. Need to check with parts dept to confirm 5 vs 4 lug nut rims.
