Re: Glowing Hybrid Logo
my suggestion, use the 06 logo
dig out the wording and replaced with blue acyclic lettering
behind either use EL or LED

Re: Glowing Hybrid Logo
what about some sort of transaprency film with "Hybrid" on the rear window brake light. I saw it done with an Alero and it looked pretty cool.

Re: Glowing Hybrid Logo
Wow, thats pretty awesome
i would get one but i know that in NH it is not legal, especially since one is a blue flashing light (only police are allowed to have those) so you might want to check with authorities first.
my brother got a solid blue light to replace is Acura emblem, and they made him take it off.
does anyone have any ideas on a cool way to mount them inside the cabin?

It is also illegal to have a blue light inside that is viewable from the outside. Other colors are okay in most states tho. I think you meant a dif. color but I'm just making sure.

Re: Glowing Hybrid Logo
So... have you calculated the effect of the glow's power draw on your FE yet? If not then you're not a "real" hybrid owner. :-)

either put a different color inside of the car, or simply put them low enough inside the car that they arent visible
i do agree that either way, the impact on the FE is too high for me, even if it is only a .1 or so change

Re: Glowing Hybrid Logo
I'm still waiting for the local agent to replenish the stock
should get them by this weekend
what makes you guys think we need to light them up while driving?
if put them inside, aren't it too distracting to the driver with these blinking or glow
we can use them link to the locking system, lights up after system armed
you can spot your car in the carpark easily with blinker
or just simply lights up upon arming or disarm the system
or connected to the cabin lamp,,,,,,
the usage unlimited to your imagination
if its used after everything off, what FE we're talking?

Re: Glowing Hybrid Logo
i guess you dont really need to worry about FE or legality if you use them when the cars off, but then i guess it doesnt leave much time for actually using them.
its a cool idea, but i dont show off my car enough for the effort, tell us how it ends up though

I'm a little confused. The dealers do not stock these. They are home-made. Are you buying decals from the dealer then installing lights? If so, let me know how ur doing it & how they come out.
