Edmunds shows the HCH II with Navigation as having an MSRP, including a $550 destination charge, of $24,200. My dealer has one in the showroom with a sticker of $23,900. Is Edmunds wrong or has there been a mid-year price increase of $300 and the one in my dealer's showroom was built before the increase?

The Honda web site shows the Navi model with an MSRP of 23,650. With the dest charge of 550 it adds up to 24,200 just as Edmunds says. I paid the MSRP of 23,900 for mine in January. So apparently the price has been quietly increased by $300 and you're looking at a small bargain.

Interesting. Price is dictated by demand so I wonder if they feel they'll sell a few more hybrids this year.

My understanding is that cars built after 3/15/2006 will be stickered with the new MSRP. I'd look for the increase on deliveries starting within the next couple of weeks.

Glad I got ours on 3/3 for just over $21K (plus ~$150 for full front end cover). As long as demand stays high, the price will go up -- just like gasoline.
