I'll second that request for a pic of the voltmeter...I could probably use something like that when I start adding amplification to my car

Good to hear that the CVT isn't necessarily the 'poor stepchild' to the MT!

I've got an average of 59.1 MPG over the 14 months I have had my HCH CVT and it is an AT-PZEV, which gets worse mileage than the ones sold in the dirty states.

I got my best tank ever yesterday, 63.5 MPG.

Great post as usual. Hearing the good things you have to say about the CVT gives me hope to make some better numbers. I must take off much too fast if you are getting above 60 on take off (between 20 and 25).

Thanks for the new knowledge.

Billy

Great post Wayne. "T", the 12V guage is a nice addition. Very clever.

Read the tips on this site. And make great effort to find out what works and doesn't for you.

Look at my reading in that picture (31.4mpg). Take a look at my current lifetime mpg in my signature. Its all from tips I learned here.

What exactly is this forced auto-start deal (ac on/econ off) business? Is this the term for popping the CVT into neutral on a long downhill and turning the engine off manually?

.

My other ride is an OH-58D, but I love my HCH - 52.2 MPG
