Default High MPG

I filled up the tank on the way home from Nashville. I filled up at the top of Monteagle Mountain just outside of Chattanooga and this is my MPG at the bottom of the mountain. It was at this number for at least 10 miles.

For some reason the car seemed to need alot of gas after this. I was struggling to stay near 60 miles per hour the rest of the way home.

Hi Billyt1963:

___Before you told me about Monteagle for the Ranger P/U’s Florida trip, I didn’t have a clue. Oh boy, now I do … I think you might receive 120 mpg while driving a Hummer H2 to the bottom of that 1,200 + foot drop over ~ 6 miles. I wouldn’t want to pay for the gas to climb it in that beast however

___Good Luck

It was rather like shooting fish in a barrel. After I started down I did not touch the gas again until I had been on flat land a while.
