Default Hybrid Fit?

It'd hard to say where this belongs, but HCH is probably the best fit.

Check this link.

Read that piece with interest. BTW isn't it odd that the Fit is called Jazz in most other markets. Why not Jazz in the home of Jazz, namely the US of A? Has someone taken out a patent on the name?

The Fit looks pretty cool (kinda like the Toyota Matrix)-- I checked it out on the Honda website. But they've got to change the lame slogan: "Fit is Go!" Really dumb.

It's amazing that the gasoline-only Fit gets 56 mpg, if the article is correct-- that's better than my HCH! I will definately have to test drive one when it hits our shores.

Oh, and where are they going to put the battery pack? With all the fold-up seats and versitile insides, they'll have to put it in the floor or something...

The Fit mentioned in that article in a foreign version. the US isn't getting 1.3L engine. We are getting a 1.5L rated at 108HP - with EPA ratings around 33 city / 38 highway. Not so great. I looked into the Fit quite a bit before deciding to go with the Civic Hybrid.

I called Honda's Customer Relations line (800-999-1009) and told the rep that if Honda builds a Fit Hybrid for the USA, they'll sell a ton of them, with *me* being the first customer.

.

Hope is like a candle held against the night.
