Smile IMA Battery, how to check?

Hi Guyz,

I am new to this hybrid world and just bought my 2004 HCH with 100K miles on it. I drove around a bit and heres what I've been able to get 58mpg driving at 70-80mph on motorways and about 45mpg driving in town. It all looks pretty good but just wanted to know how to test if my battery is assisting enough?

That mileage you are stating seems kind of high. Normal highway mileage is supposed to be around 50mpg. How are you getting that good of mileage? Are you relying on the read out or are you actually doing the math yourself?
