Default The new Honda hybrid is ugly

I can't believe Honda would "pirate" another vehicle company's design, but looking at their new hybrid it seems they decided to copy the Prius instead of designing something new.

Just look at this photo, it's obvious that Honda reverse engineered the Prius.

Don't criticize the cuisine before it's served....

Commuter car, grocery getter, and summer road tripper--average 10k miles per year.

Winter road trips and ski trips, bad weather commuter and my wife's "daily" driver--expected average 4k miles per year.

Looks nice. It resembles the 05hch tail light config except more rounded and tapered towards the top. Wonder if it has more storage space than the former civic hybrid designs??

I'm just glad we've got this all on record.

I'm thinking there will be a lot of crow-eating when this thing comes out and knocks your socks off.

An aerodynamic 4-door hatchback only has a finite number of possible shapes.

It should look like an updated Insight, but with four passenger doors and no rear-wheel fairing. Toyota has no claim to originality.
