Default It was nice while it lasted

Soon I won't have the best MPG on the database.

Hot Georgia, I see you and I are now tied at 60.0 MPG.

I'm sure your next tank will put you in the lead.
I hereby crown thee Honorable Lord of the Hypermiling HCH CVTrs.

Long live the King!

2nd place at just a measly 60 MPG? How can you live with yourself?

I've been bumped to 3rd by 2 new guys who have only put in easy Summer miles. I'm expecting to at least get second place back come Winter but Rob might just have the right stuff to keep me out of 1st.

Hi Kenny:

___I have to give both you and Hot_Georgia_2004 my congratulatory best as it was neck and neck all summer. I am personally glad to know you as a California hybrid driver pushing tanks to be tied for “Best in the World”. That is a huge accomplishment and especially in an area of the country where everybody apparently travels at 80 + miles per hour as has been posted in hybrid forums the world over

___Good Luck

Thanks Kenny.
Really, my goal was just to push the car (and myself) as high as I can.
Surely I'm taking extreme measures....but have alot of fun (and savings) too.
I'd bet your average speed is faster than mine
I've been blessed with a great commute...and with gas at $3.00 I'm taking advantage of it.

Well Kenny I have good news for you and bad news for me.

The wife called me tonight in half panic because she hit and killed Bambi while driving the Grand Caravan.
I haven't seen it yet but I understand the GC is out of commision for a while- she says buckled hood, smashed lenses and fluid leaking.

The good news for you is that the HCH is now our only working vehicle, at least for a while.....which means drastically lower tank figures.

So with that I hereby pass the proverbial grand, golden laid crown of glory back to your capable hands.

Hot G. I'm sorry to hear about your wife's accident.
I hope she is okay.

Perhaps she can learn your ultra hypermiling skills.
She could even register here.

Let's see what would be a good name for the wife of Hot Georgia?
I've got it: "Hot Georgina" hehehe

Anyway you are still wearing that crown of glory, with 60.2 MPG, but I'm certainly on your tail, with 60.1.
