Default Odd Smell (like burning plastic)??

About 2-3 weeks after getting my HCH, I started to notice an odd odor after getting out of the car (after driving about 20-30 minutes to/from work).
After about the same driving time this weekend, my girlfriend and I noticed the same smell except while inside the car and much stronger. She described it as a burning plastic smell.
Has anybody else noticed this or have any input as to what it could be?
I'm calling the dealer to have them check it out and to get the 63 mile bug fixed.

YES, I've had the SAME problem !!!! I was considering starting a thread about it. Its smelled like burned plastic once or twice on me too. I noticed it when driving for awhile, and once it was after going uphill most of the way, up to Mt. High (for snowboarding) in Wrightwood, CA. It hasn't happened again, so I haven't gone. You would need to reproduce it for the mechanics to be able to figure it out. By the way, how many miles does your Civic have ????

I think there is between 1100-1200 miles on it. I got it with 246 on it.
I was hoping it would just "go away". I know it will be a Murphy Law event(wont be able to reproduce it) when I take it to the dealer. But I'm going to make sure I get record of it incase something burns up...
How many miles on yours?

I periodically get that smell - don't know if it's ozone or burning insulation. Weird.
I'm past the warranty though, and the smell seems to dissappear after a few minutes...
???
