Seattle is something of a stronghold of environmental activism, so lots of hybrids to be seen. I've only spotted a couple HCH2's however. On a typical commute, I'll spot 1-3 hybrids on any given day. Lots of Prius I's and HCH I's.

Out here in Blue state, Left coast, NPR loving Portland, Oregon, I see them every day. We didn't vote for George and driving a HCHII or a Prius daily is like a one finger salute. So satisfying, you don't even need a bumper sticker.

I see a Prius every other day or so - have only seen 1-2 new Civics, both non-hybrid.

But then again, in a state with 1/2 million people, I don't see many other cars, period (and 1/2 of those are from NY or NJ )

1/2 million people ???? WOW....that must be nice....1-3 HCH II's a day !!!!???? WOW.... I've only seen about 4 or 5 SINCE they came out last October, and thats here in California, in Los Angeles !!!! Go figure....

I've never seen a HCH-II, and spot another HCH-I and Prius 1-4 times a week.

Efficient drivers do it better.

I see an occasional Insight, maybe two HCH-I a week, three or four Prius everyday.

I've seen two HCH-II, but it may have been the same one, twice.

oakland, ca. reporting. i have only seen perhaps 1 other hch2. of course the bay area is packed with the prius and hch1. too many to shake a stick at!

Mine's the only HCH i have seen in St. Louis but I have seen 2 Accord hybrids and one HCH I. Priuses I see every hour or so.

Only spotted 1 on Long Island.
