Personally, I have rarely warmed up any of my vehicles, even down below zero - I just take it real easy for the first couple of miles.
Same here...I have read that this is the best thing to do. And in Colorado, it is ILLEGAL to have the car running unattended with the keys in it. So unless you have remote starters, you can get ticketed.

Last winter, an undercover cop got her unmarked police car stolen from in front of her home. She got in big trouble for doing this and ended up losing the weapons that were in the trunk, too.

This morning, in NJ, the temperature was a balmy 56 degrees at 0600. They say it might reach 75 today. With 600 miles on the tank of gas, I was able to push the OSD from 58.6 to 59.4. Nice.

In addition to the car engine performing better in the warmer weather, the car also rolls better. Certain runs where during the winter I would have to engage the engine to maintain speed now allow a longer glide.

I hope to see those consistent 700 mile tanks again.

Hooray for spring! Hip hip hoorah for the sun! Everybody sing with me!---

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling, The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, It seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Here comes the sun, do do do do
Here comes the sun
It's all right
It's all right!

Two days ago I washed and detailed my car. Today is the first day I've noticed a covering of green powdery haze of pollen.
The next 4-5 weeks is gonna be difficult to maintain its appearance, despite hosing it off before I leave for the day, and again when I return.
