Trunk Release / Key Fob

Trunk Release / Key Fob
In reading the owners manual I notice the key fob shows a trunk release button.
At first I really didnt think about the key fob but my previous acura had the trunk release and with two kids I find that I am missing the convenience of the auto trunk release from the key fob.
Did anyone receive a trunk release for their key fob or purchase one?
I have emailed my sales rep to see if I can get a key fob with trunk release but have a feeling this may come at a price.
Cheers.

Re: Trunk Release / Key Fob
Hi Jeff,
I have the same thing here. It seems like the Canadian 'keys' don't have the trunk release button.
While we're speaking of 'features' what is the lowest temperature that you can dial in the auto climate? Mine goes from 19C to LO (can't pick anything below 19).
Cheers,
Stephane.

Yup,
we do like it cold! The thing is when we come from outside where it is -20C and we are all dressed up for the -20C, 19C is hot (with all the cloathing required to support -20C!).
Cheers,
Stephane.

Hi Jeff,
I'm from Montreal! It was really cold this morning (-18C). Just to confirm your second thread, fuel economy went down this morning (way down). It seems to me that 0C is unseasonably 'warm' for Edmonton at this time of year, would I be wrong?
Cheers,
Stephane.

You are exactly right. It has been a wonderful winter season to date. We are typically in the -20 C world right about now and at times dipping to -30/-40 so we are enjoying some reasonable weather.
Kids would enjoy more snow but Daddy and Mommy are quite fine with it.
Cheers!
P.S. I have enjoyed reading your posts and contributions to the forum - specifically related to driving techniques. Well done!
