Default 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid

Does anyone have any info on the new Nissan Altima Hybrid? If I buy a second Hybrid it would probably be the Altima, as I love its styling.

It will be sold only in the eight states certified to meet California emissions requirements: California, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine and New Jersey.

They are licensing the technology from Toyota.

BTW, Pennsylvania is about to add itself onto the California emissions requirements.

Unfortunately, too late for me to get the extra 10/150K hybrid warranty on my MMH.

You might try this review from greencarcongress, too.

"The Altima Hybrid’s available DVD navigation system also features a real-time display showing how the hybrid system directs the flow of energy."

No, the price hasn't been set, yet. But Nissan has indicated it will cost 3 to 5K more than the conventional gas only Altima.

...which is $18-29k, with an automatic 2.5S being $20k. I'm sure the Altima Hybrid will be more expensive than the Camry Hybrid, but who knows if it's actually in Accord Hybrid territory or not.
