For more information about it, I did some investigating and posted a livejournal post about the car. I posted the link to the high school, to the company that made the body (K-1) and some other important links.

I tried to e-mail the West Philly High contact about whether they would sell the car, or at least the blueprints, but got a Mailer Daemon response. I also tried the number, but so far without success. They used a VW TDI engine in the rear, but I have no idea what kind of electric engine they used in the front. For those who haven't clicked the link yet, do it now.

I guess I forgot to mention before that it gets 50 mpg, and runs on biodiesel?
