I sense that most here are mature enough to joke about it and assume people are people. There are good individuals in every country and culture ... or to slant it negatively - there are just as many Americans jerks as French jerks.

Sometimes I believe that with the demise of the USSR ... we (westerners) just go looking for adversaries ... kind of like fighting with your brothers and sisters when there isn't anyone better to squabble with?
