Default Adding dashboard photo???

How do you add "stuff" to your sig, such as the dashboard photos of your MPG? (I am ecstatic that I hit 58.1mpg for a 112 mile trip today!!). Yes, I am a nerd and took photos, AND I sent them to family, friends, etc...). This is only my second tank (less than 600 miles so far), and I can only see it getting better and better...

ANYWAY, I digress--how to add to signature???

thanks in advance!!

Refer to the post below. It is really just part of your signature so edit that and add your awesome MPG photo. Welcome to the club. On Monday my HCH-II will be 6 weeks old and should have almost 6,500 miles. Sweet.

Wow, and only your 2nd tank...that's FANTASTIC!

Taking pictures of your dashboard are early signs of addiction.
And addicting it is! Sounds like you're a great driver already.
Keep it up!

how to add to signature
1. Crop/resize your photo to the appropriate size using your photo program.
2. Click "Share" at the top of any GH page.
3. Click "Upload" in the pink navigation bar near the top.
4. Click the browse button and select your photo. Add title, etc. Choose Honda Civic Hybrid as the category.
5. Click Submit.
6. Highlight and copy onto the clipboard one of the three locations on the next screen. I usually use the direct link code.
7. Click Discuss, then "User CP" near the top of the page.
8. Click "Edit Signature" and click the cursor where you want the image to appear.
9. Click the insert image icon along the top of the text box.
10. Delete what's in the location box and paste in what you did in step 6.
(You can find your photo back in the share section again if you wish)

Thanks for all the tips everyone -- I'll work on adding the photos when I get a chance.

Yes, it IS addicting, and I freely admit that I have become addicted in the short time I've had the car. This site is just a wealth of good information, and I'm glad I found it.

happy gliding!!

OK, I think I did it -- thanks all, but especially Stever -- very clear and understandable instructions. Now let's see how I did!!

This is not my commute -- we took a trip for a function on a Saturday, and it was 112 miles round trip -- and this is when I got the 58.1mpg. My last two years I had a 40 mile commute each way, and my husband has about 52 miles each way. I am NOT unhappy to be back to a 5 mile commute (and I'm getting about 46-47 mpg on that commute so far, but cooler weather is coming).

happy hypermiling!!

I think Dave was referring to my average over 6 weeks of owning the car which is almost 6,100 miles per week though it has only been on 3 weekend trips so far meaning that most of those miles are made during the work week - sure was a good choice of car to replace my old one, eh?

Oh, let's stay on topic folks - don't want an Admin to yell at us or something. <smirk>
