Thanks for the speedy responses! Agreed - the technology available today is amazing...

Prior to switching to MAP, I was monitoring GPH/fuel usage on my scangauge. We'll see, maybe I'll switch back to GPH after my commute tomorrow morning

Default A question for lindermant..

How do you embed a figure or photo in a thread like you did?
I've got an hilarious cartoon I would like to share, but have not found out how to.....

*edited to add I have yet to drive it since reconfiguring just a few moments ago - just curious if anyone else is tracking MAP with their scangauge, and what #'s they're seeing.

Fernando,

If the cartoon is hosted somewhere on the web:
  • navigate to the pic of interest
  • right click on the picture
  • select properties
  • copy the URL displayed in the properties
To insert the pic in a thread response:
  • click on the insert image icon (yellow box with what looks like a mountain)
  • paste the URL you copied for the pic
That should take care of it. If the pic is not hosted on the web (i.e. it's on your hard drive) then you'll have to upload it first...

hope this helps!

Yes thanks, it helped.

I'd tried the upload option, but unfortunately the .jpg extension is not a valid file extension.

So therefore, I've zipped the cartoon.
