Well, I plan on buying a new car this year and chances are it may be a hybrid. But I went to the autoshow up in DC, sat in a bunch of cars, loved the new civic, still love the Prius, but have some concerns that the seat may not go far enough back, but then again, sitting in a car at the auto show isn't going to give you the big picture on comfort. I do love the room in it but, wasn't impressed with the cup holders. I know it's a petty complaint but why is the honda civic the only car with good cup holders? Being an avid coffee drinker I need a good cup holder so I can have my coffee on the way to and from work. Saw the new Camry hybrid and I love it! It's such a great looking car, I give toyota credit on their efforts to pull away from boring styling. But still, the most comfortable vehicle that I sat in was the Honda Odyssey. It's just my son and I, plus the GF and her son. I, by no means need a minivan, but **** is that thing comfy. I know it's not a typical car choice for a 28 year old male, I should be looking at the WRX STI but I've had my sports car fun, now I want something comfortable. I do have a long daily commute but I can ride public transportation for $1 each way which I did do for a while but since work has be insainly busy, I have to be here early and late but it won't always be that way. Plus I make a regular trip to PA to visit family so storage space is nice, especially at Christmas when my parents spoil my son rotton

....lol. So, it's all difficult now. I even like the Element but it gets crappy FE compared to most cars I'm looking at. But it would be great for the Saturday trip to the Beach and I like the AWD. But I guess it all comes down to what do I need. Or, should I just drive the Pre till it dies. UGH! New car fever. Anyway, really don't know the point of this post, still on my first cup of coffee. Basically I guess I'm just looking for guidance. If only the Ody came in a hybrid also. But unfortuantely it would probably be out of my price range if it did.
On a side note I have to say the Suby Tribeca was a dissappointment. The front seats weren't bad but the back seats were like sitting on a concrete slab.
