Default Chevy out front of Toyota? (off-topic humor)

Recognizing that a hybrid newsgroup is among the LAST places to post pictures of heavy duty work trucks, I just couldn't resist this one.

I find this humorous because Toyota is putting a lot of money into marketing the idea that the new Tundra is the most powerful truck available.

So what does Toyota's racing team use to transport their race trucks?

That, my friends, would be a Chevy Silverado.

Peace,

Martin

That reminds me of the "misplaced ads" my son was showing me yesterday on the internet...

Ad on the bus reads:
"If you don't have GIO Third Party Property Insurance, we suggest you don't hit this bus".

You really oughta send that one to Jay Leno. That is hilarious!

I'm just surprised they're not using one of these, given how long that trailer is:

The guys from Tru Biofuels were out in Venice at the Abbot Kinney street festival (which was pretty green) with a Mercedes Benz UNIMOG, a German military vehicle that was about that size, but with four doors not six.

They run it on waste vegetable oil.

Still... it's a lot of used veggie oil. And there's still emissions coming out of the tail pipe. People get all excited about biofuels, but I think that the future for most passenger vehicles is combustion-less. And powered by Photovoltaics.

.

BIOFUEL COMPATIBLE HYBRIDS NOW!
