Con/Phillips 66 - GreenHybrid

The company I work for sold con/phil a expansion job. Im expected to kiss there *** and do a swell build and start up for them. I refused today to have anything concerning the job. I refuse to kiss a ceo's *** that has ripped the heart out of Oklahoma with moving world hq's to texas and gutting Bartlesville. Have they kissed my *** at the pump... I think not. Im here to share with you how phillps 66 can rip the gut out of Oklahoma and then think a local will kiss there butts like gays in a bath house. They are posting record profits now like most other major's and 66 is a leader in jet fuel and putting the dong to all that understand flight. Theres no way driving a hybrid will make a bit of a diff. to them or any other major. But flat out laying your life and soul on the line will. yoyu do a fe thing... do you have the nuts to do the right thing and refuse to do anything for them? Buy there fuel, fly airlines the fuel? I choose to not support them thru work at the risk of loosing my job. What can you do???

Hi Jeff,

Can you explain a little more about what Phillips did to you? You might get more to support the cause if we understood the situation a bit better.

And. On a side note. I do think that Hybrids will make a bit of difference when **** near everyone is driving one. However, the harvesting of natural resources will still continue. It will switch from hydrocarbon to nickle, lithium, phosphate, etc.

66 will pick up this as quick as anyone else.

I understand your anger. Please be careful with the language.

I personaly use BP pretty much all the time. But if I'm ever tempted to go with Phillips I'll avoid them for your sake. However, I think you will find that all companies are the same and if we avoided them all because the CEOs were greedy we wouldn't ever buy anything.

I am aware of Phillips 66 moving their headquarters from Oklahoma to Houston. While practly the entire Who's Who of the US Energy industry are moving to Houston over the last decade, it seems very unethical for Phillips 66 to pull out of Bartlettsville the way they did. That town was built around them and they just got hit by an economic Katrina.
