does anyone of you know how much money toyota invested in the development of its synergy drive system? I've heard they had made enough money with the first generation prius to cover this investment, but I don't know if they're just bluffin'.
Well, if they can sell the technology to other carmakers (e.g. to Porsche for the Cayenne, since they won't put a diesel in one of their cars), they'll surely earn something.
