There is no date on the article unless you've found one.

From this "According to the government's fuel economy.gov website, there's a "clean fuel" deduction of $2,000 for most hybrids, if they are placed in service by the end of 2005." which suggests this article is sadly dated. Other references to "273 V." batteries strongly suggest this article was written at least three years ago.

It is out of date and the facts and data are wrong. It looks like something left over from a hack job three years ago and no one ever cleaned it up.

I've left feedback asking if out-of-date, inaccurate articles, full of useless hyperbole is their editorial standard.

I think that site is pro hydrogen. Which in my opinion ain't going to happen any time in the near future (in the next 50 years). All we need is really good battery tech to get everyone to switch over to gas hybrid or all electric.

The problem with hydrogen is you have to be able to generate it cheaply. Untill we develope more nuclear power any discussion of a hydrogen economy is moot.

Regardless of what they say, the evil hybrid image on the first link looks REALLY cool.
sorry, but i agree that its stupid, and hydrogen IS electric, so we need to decide which is going to be a better battery, hydrogen or Li-ion or something completely different.

You heard it here first, and here’s why: They cost more money, don’t deliver an equal value for all that cash and will keep the filthy little foreign oil rats in business for another 30 years. Hybrids do nothing well but everything okay. That makes about as much sense as diet soda, fat-free ice cream or low-tar cigarettes.
