Hi all,
I was thinking today about the effects of fuel conscious drivers. Obviously if everyone was fuel conscious we would use less of it as a whole...but i think the effect would go deeper than that. People would be paying more attention to there driving...reducing wreck numbers, and also driving at slower speeds, reducing the wreck intensity. So if we got everyone fuel consious, they'ed also be safer.
Anyway, thats just me kinda talking.
Cheers,
Steven

I'm not so sure about that. I think fuel conSciousness is the effect, not the cause. It takes a character of person to be concerned with certain things.

Either that, or we'll all be slamming into the guy in front of us because we're so distracted by obsessing over getting that 4.0 L/100 km down to 3.9.
