Default Free year of roadside assitance for hybrid owners

Hybrid owners get one year of roadside assistance free from the Better World Club!

http://www.betterworldclub.com/

The Better World Club, is an environmentally responsible alternative to AAA. They offer the same services and pricing, but they donate 1% of revenue to environmental cleanup and advocacy, as well as providing a greenhouse gas emissions offsetting program, while AAA spends part of its membership dues lobbying for more road building and against mass transit, vehicle emission controls and gas mileage improvements, with very little input from, or transparency to, the huge membership it lobbys for. I know most people have loads of loyalty to AAA because they've been around for a hundred years and they've come to the rescue when you've been stuck, but the same local tow trucks will show up with BWC, and I think it makes sense to support a company with a more forward thinking vision of cars and the environment. Pass on the word to any environmentally minded car owner you think might be interested, but especially hybrid owners, since they can get a year of free service.

I am not affiliated with Better World Club and will not receive compensation for my endorsement.

Thanks for emailing me about this. I wasn't going to post it as Hybrid News until I read this:
Quote:
At the same time, we are also announcing a surcharge on the three worst gas-guzzling cars sold in the U.S.: the Dodge Ram 1500, the Lamborghini 447, and the Hummer H2. According to government statistics, each of these cars gets approximately 9 miles to the gallon. The surcharge will be 20% on each of these cars for any auto membership.
I practically laughed out loud. So, now there's a thread here: http://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/t...-discount.html

I'll close this one so there aren't duplicates.
