Hi folks,

Some of the early, Atkinson cycle Prius have been seeing a 'sticky throttle plate' problem that causes intermittent starting failures. If your vehicle is under warranty, let the dealer handle it. However, some of the older, fuel injection vehicles may see similar problems when the Fall weather arrives. Hopefully this link may avoid expensive, out-of-warranty work:
