Default Has anyone been able to rent a hybrid while on vacation?

I'm going to northern California this summer and want to rent a hybrid. Anyone find one somewhere? If so, what rental car company?

.

Not bad for an automatic, eh?

So does Avis. I rented a TCH for two weeks before I bought mine. Also a NAH down in Califormia for three days.

check with this company's site:
www.evrental.com

I rented a HCH2 last year in San Diego. They were a little pricey at the time, but had no hybrid-rental competition then. Things may have changed.

You're in luck, lots of Nor Cal car rental agencies have hybrids. Avis and Hertz most definitely, but I think National is joining the mix.

In SF I've rented an Altima hybrid, and in Sacramento I had a Prius, both from Avis.

I've rented Civic Hybrids from Fox Rental every time I visit SF. They also rent Prius.
