It enables the auto-stop feature. Just in case, the auto-stop is when the engine automatically shuts off at stop lights, etc. I've only used it when it was really hot and I didn't want the autostop to engage (and also turn off the A/C in the process). However that's a Civic. Don't think the HAH has that problem.

My guy was OK, but he still could have used a class. I was trying to get the car to autostop on a test drive. Button was on, but we couldn't get it to go. Turns out it was below 41 degress.

I had one dealer tell me that it was called Integrated Management Assistance. Um, sir - please glance at the giant poster on the wall and tell me what it says, would be much more reliable.

I don't think most salespersons know about the hybrids they are selling. They just want some hybrid geek like us to come in and take out it out of their hands.

My salesman actually tried to talk me out of buying the HAH. He mentioned to me that the EX-V6 was cheaper than the hybrid by a few thousand. But that's if I wanted a fully loaded car, like how the HAH comes. And I'd save even more money if I just got an EX 4 cyl.

I thought this was kinda cool, since he wasn't trying to stick me into a more expensive car to make a bigger commission.

I don't know if he really knew much about hybrids. I got the idea that he knew his stuff, but we didn't talk much about how the car works, as I've already read up on it before going to the dealership.

Hi All:

___There is that used hybrid store out in La Crosse, WI. I think that is where it’s at? Ericbecky, I could use your help on that one … That has a guy that knows hybrids. I do not trust his product as I have seen where he purchases them and the condition they were in pre and post his ownership. Either way, I have read some of his posts online and he is a very knowledgeable individual with regards to hybrids. I just wish there were more like him is all

___Good Luck

___Wayne R. Gerdes
