Those who think hybrids are really slow cars think again.

Last night at 2:30 AM on my way home I approached a traffic light, no one around exept a car ideling at a nearby closed bank. As I stopped at the light the car pulled along side and something went "WHAM" then "BAM, BAM"!
Completely startled from the silence of my stopped car I looked back and saw the egg yoke running down the rear window.
The car turned right and even though I WAS going straight I turned also.
Both of us floored it and in a few seconds I read the licence # from the old Caprice, full of screaming kids with colorful jestures. (And tossing more bombs)
Last thing I needed was to see a bad wreck for the chase.
Speed limit on the highway is 55 and since we were rapidly approaching 65 I backed off and turned around.

As I hurridly (cruise control on speed limit) drove home to clean the mess I called the cops. They thanked me for the description as several POLICE cars and others have been egged as well.
BTW found out the BEST time to wash a car is the middle of the night!
Thanks

.

The best way to get egg off is NOT to allow it to dry. My partner's C230 was egged while parked and it was really difficult to remove. I was tempted to use the shark steamer, but didn't know if it would adversely effect the paint.

Steve,
You did make sure to clean the egg out of all the irrigation channels around the hood, doors, and trunk right? That would really turn into a smelly mess.
Cheers,
Steven

Thanks,
I hurried home to wash it before it dried.
Fortunately all 3 hit the rear glass so it was all concentrated there and was relatively easy to clean out.
You're right if I would have waited it would have been difficult.
