Hybrids are so common out here in Berkeley that I almost forget to notice. Hybrids and Subaru Foresters seem to be the theme cars these days. On the hybrid side the Prius is the most sighted. I've also seen quite a few Lexus 400h's, Civic Hybrids although Insight sightings are a bit rare. Highlander Hybrids sightings are no longer rare these days, but then again, they may have already been around, I just didn't notice them before. On average for my 10 minute ride to the BART, I'll see 4 or 5 on average.

I see quite a few in Baltimore. Besides MY vehicle:
-- There's a HCH, Insight, and Prius in my immediate neighborhood.
-- There's a Prius, FEH, HH, and another HCH at the gym.
-- There's a Prius and another HCH at the parking garage at work.
-- There's a Prius and another HCH at church.
Now the church situation has been interesting. Five years ago, almost EVERYONE drove a minivan or SUV. Now I see a lot of midsize sedans and station wagons. This is a good thing, since that means that the average church MPG has gone from low teens to low 20s.
I drive very little,maybe 10-15 miles a day, tops. Some days I do not drive at all. However, I pass 2 Prii every AM. They NEVER wave. The Baltimore/DC area is crawling with hybrids though. I was really happy when I was driving down there. 2 people I know drive prii and once all three of our cars were the only cars in my office parking lot, wooohoo. There is a new Insight in the neighborhood, but I have only seen it on the road once and parked 3 times.
One more Prius just made my frequent sightings list -- just down the street from my parents' house, the family just bought a silver Prius. They were outside with all the doors open and family checking out the vehicle (otherwise, I was tempted to park nearby and snap a cameraphone photo of my FEH next to a Prius -- that's how rare hybrid sightings are here, still! )
Every now and then, I'll see one or two. Over the past few months, I tend to see the same few vehicles, 2 FEHs (both green) live near me, which I occasionally see. There's a black Prius that I often see on the expressway coming home. There's a white Prius that I often see at the University.
There's others that I occasionally see, but they're all either FEHs or Prius', I practically never see anything else. (And on the expressways, every hybrid
that I do see passes me with quite a bit of speed.)
