I probably see on average 1-2 per day. Generally it's a Prius, and occassionally I see the RX400h that lives in my area, and I've seen a total of 2 Hylander Hybrids. I often see other FEHs, and the only HCH/HCHII that I've seen is my Mum's, but she doesn't live in the area so I don't see it often.
The most I've seen in one day, was probably the 8-10 FEHs that were on a truck on the highway being delivered... I wish I had the camera in the car for that... would have made a nice picture.
I see increasingly more hybrids all the time. Yesterday I saw 1 Prius I, 4 Prius II, 1 HCH and 1 FEH. Today I saw 3 Prius II, and 1 HCH, and 1 HAH. It's possible I missed some along the way.
New Haven, CT now gives a special free parking sticker to any New Haven resident hybrid car owner whose car is registered there. I think it might be the only municipality outside of CA to offer such a thing. The Mayor of New Haven drives a Prius.
I saw three Prius (can't tell the I from the II), including a TAXI Prius here in San Antonio on Thursday. I haven't researched yet which local taxi service has Priuses in their fleet, but I thought that was terrific. Yes, San Antonio is a major metropolitan area, but we lag behind so much in terms of technology that I'm really thrilled to see so many other hybrids on the roads and now a taxi service one, on top of that!
That said, the hybrids around town almost all are speeding. I guess if you can get 40mpg even when driving like a non-fuel economy minded driver, the devil's on your shoulder a lot... especially in this town where the giant pickups and Hummers are always a few paces behind, riding your bumper no matter what you're driving.

The Prius 1 is 100% different than the 2. Looks like a longer echo. If you watch early seasons of 'curb your enthusiasm', its the car larry david drives.
In Boulder CO this morning I saw 5 Priuses on a short 5 mile drive. They are everywhere here.
Yesterday while doing a xeriscape "tour of homes" I parked next to an Insight that had a carshare sticker on the door. With a little internet investigating I found their site. Sort of a co-op with a small fleet, of 5 or 6 cars that members can use on an as needed basis with a monthly fee and mileage rate. I see the Insight was donated
Seems like a truck would be a good addition to the fleet. Apparently as interest and membership grows the fleet will grow.
