I thought the "haha" at the end of livvies's post meant that it was sort of a sarcastic joke since it has been discussed many times before and just about beat to death.

I was just about to make the same wisecrack. Sort of like the old saying, a clean car runs better.

You could always lower the car and get moondish wheel covers to reduce aero drag.

___I wonder what 14” moondish rims, LRR 14” RE92’s off an Insight, and a large metal plate hanging off the front bumper to remove any under car airflow from the front of our MDX would do in terms of FE and the ability to go at least 150 mph? Maybe 18/25 per the EPA? It would be hell in the Chicago winter and its streets but anything for aerodynamics and the resultant increase in FE
