Xcel makes a good point about emissions ratings - the warranty length may eventually matter! When I bought my Prius in 2001, that warranty was a lot shorter and now it is nearing the end. If exhaust system (or other components) become needed, I will be checking with the vehicle dismantlers.

Did you get your PhD to shut everyone up?

What I mean is that when I got my Masters degree, everyone kept asking me if I was going to get a PhD. I said "Heck no. I'm done with school and I need to make some money (because Hybrid Civics aren't cheap )."

Nope,

Went back to school for my masters when I discovered that I didn't know enough. Then momentum got me the Ph.D. (I still don't know enough).

well, i guess technically i'll have a MSc in the spring, but it's only a step toward the PhD.

Bachelor degree; born and raised in Michigan.

Born and bred in the Great Lake State. Have lived elsewhere for a few years at a time - but never in California.

I got my "beginners permit" to learn (Ph.D.) and have been trying to learn ever since.

So I fail on both counts. But, hey, you learn from your mistakes.
