With the Tax Credits taking effect next year, wouldn't you think that any retailer or private sale will take a real hit on resale value...

I wonder if theKBBs & Edmunds will take that into account when they show trade in or private party sales estimate values.

It may not affect things as much since you only get the credit when you fill out your tax return in the following year.

I've seen a few HCH in the paper for sale and they don't stay there that long. Just saw a 03HCH with 65000 miles and he wants 17,800.Thats more than I paid for my 04 new!Kevin

I also believe that it only applies if you own the vehicle, not if you buy it and sell it. (At least not in that fiscal year.)
